This position is primarily responsible for providing technical assistance/services to the Sales Team and for the development of the business through different technical researches for new products, preparation of technical data sheets, catalogs, presentation materials, cable design and cable construction drawings, and cable applications and installations.


PRODUCT APPLICATIONS

  • Conduct Value Engineering VE Studies for existing and new products wiring applications
  • Provide technical support service to customers and Sales Team regarding wire and cable product specifications, cable constructions and applications.
  • Review customers’ requirements and applications, and recommend appropriate product & solutions to the customers.
  • Prepare technical and product information needed by sales team and customers related electrical characteristics of cables, ampacities, product packaging and installation guides and procedures.


PRODUCT/ TECHNICAL & VALUE ENGINEERRING SOLUTION PRESENTATIONS

  • Develop customized product presentation materials for diverse target audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
  • Perform technical presentations to electrical designers, customers, and contractors to promote existing and new products, as well as PD services.
  • Facilitate Value Engineering Presentations, focusing on cost-effective solutions in alignment with customer needs.
  • Engage in technical and coordination meetings with clients to discuss VE and PD Engage Projects, ensuring client requirements are met.


PROMOTION OF PD ENGAGE (Engineering Advantage) Pre-Sale and After-Sale Technical Services

  • Deliver pre-installation training to customers' contractors, engineers, and cable installers, ensuring a thorough understanding of the product and installation processes.
  • Conduct on-site installation audits and thermal scanning post-energization of cables to guarantee installation integrity.
  • Oversee PD ENGAGE Project implementation, coordinating procurement, installation, and testing of VE and innovative cable solutions.
  • Liaise with various contractors and designers to support the promotion of PD ENGAGE, particularly for new product introductions.


OTHERS

  • Timely delivery of reports and administrative requirements to support team functions.
  • Strict adherence to safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborative work with plant cable designers and process engineers to guarantee product consistency across design and quotations.
  • Continuously update product knowledge, staying informed of new wire and cable technologies.
  • Execution of additional tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.


This role has no commission but all expenses are reimbursable. With fixed salary

المتطلبات

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

  • A graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable University or College.
  • LICENSE: Must be an EE Board Passer


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

  • Desired: at least one (1) year of significant experience as technical engineer and/or business development analyst gained from a manufacturing firm of electrical wire, cable products.


OTHERS

  • Demonstrates clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Skilled in utilizing AutoCAD for the creation of detailed technical drawings and plans.
  • Capable of making informed decisions within the scope of established company policies and industry standards, addressing routine operational challenges with sound judgment.
  • Advanced knowledge of wire and cable products and applications.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of electrical systems, adept in the preparation of electrical plans, and well-versed in product specifications.
  • Applies excellent mathematical acumen to solve engineering problems and develop project estimates.
  • Organized and efficient, with a demonstrated ability to manage workloads and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Has willingness to exert additional effort when necessary.
  • Proactive in approach to problem-solving and task execution, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Adaptable and resilient, capable of maintaining high performance standards under pressure.
  • Quick to adjust to changing work demands and comfortable navigating evolving work environments.
  • Highly analytical, utilizing critical thinking to assess situations and develop innovative solutions.
  • Collaborative team player, known for interacting effectively with both team members and clients.
