About the Role:

The Business Intelligence Officer transforms complex data into actionable insights that drive smart business decisions. This role supports performance improvement, efficiency gains, and long-term growth by making data clear, accessible, and strategically aligned. Reporting to the Training and Quality Manager, and working closely with the Head of Service Delivery, the position ensures that all efforts support the company’s overall strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a business intelligence strategy aligned with company goals
• Set data standards, reporting rules, and quality checks while ensuring data privacy and security compliance
• Lead and mentor a team of analysts, developers, and data engineers
• Promote a data-driven culture through training and cross-department collaboration
• Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver custom solutions
• Manage the design and upkeep of data storage systems and pipelines
• Select and implement BI tools to optimize performance and scalability
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports that translate complex data into clear insights
• Automate reporting processes to save time and reduce errors
• Perform detailed data analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support forecasting and predictive modeling for strategic planning
• Oversee projects from start to finish, balancing urgent requests with long-term goals
• Communicate results and progress effectively to senior leaders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy roles
• Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and data visualization tools
• Solid hands-on experience with Power BI for creating dashboards and reports
• Proven leadership skills in managing BI teams and driving project completion
• Good understanding of basic computer operations and programming concepts
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills to present insights effectively to stakeholders
• Deep technical knowledge relevant to the business domain and data environment
