A company driver's primary responsibility is to safely transport people or goods for a company. They may also perform vehicle maintenance and interact with clients and vendors. 

Responsibilities 

• Transport company staff or goods to and from designated locations
• Follow traffic laws and company safety regulations
• Maintain the vehicle's cleanliness and roadworthiness
• Ensure the vehicle has enough gas to reach its destination
• Develop and follow efficient routes to ensure punctuality
• Adjust travel plans as needed

• To be a company driver, you typically need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, excellent communication skills, knowledge of traffic laws, the ability to read maps and follow directions, physical capability to load and unload goods, and often a high school diploma or equivalent; prior experience as a company driver may also be preferred depending on the role.
