The AU Tax Advisory Senior Consultant plays a key role in handling one or more client engagements or components of large-scale projects. This includes delivering high-quality work, applying technical knowledge, coaching and training team members, and promoting effective engagement management. The role also involves building strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring consistent delivery of quality service. Managers are expected to foster a culture of continuous feedback and support performance development across the team.

• Manage one or more client engagements or components of large-scale projects
• Ensure delivery of quality work and effective engagement management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Manage risk and ensure compliance with firm policies
• Support business development and marketing initiatives
• Collaborate with other service lines and internal teams

Expertise & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have:

• Solid exposure to Australian tax and accounting legislation
• Strong technical knowledge in AU tax compliance, advisory, and accounting standards
• At least 2 years of experience in Australian tax consulting
• A relevant tertiary or postgraduate degree
• Ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex concepts
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Initiative and openness to innovative solutions in a dynamic service environment
