POSITION SUMMARY

• The CAD Operator is responsible for use technology to help generate designs for complex projects. These designs may be used to create 2D images, a process known as surface modeling, or 3D images, or solid modeling.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interpreting project briefs and meeting with clients, engineers, and architects to ensure all shop and technical drawings are completed to specifications in due time.
• Producing rough sketches and using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints
• Ensuring drawings are compliant with standard regulations and engineering principles.
• Communicating potential design issues to engineers and architects.
• Conducting research when required.
• They attend meetings with clients to understand project specifications on and off-site.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferably a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Certified Drafter, Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in making/preparing a kitchen layout (BOH + FOH), elevation.
• Should be well-versed in Autocad, Enscape, Revit, Sketchup, or other graphic-aided uses in designing and rendering.
