A company driver's primary responsibility is to safely transport people or goods for a company. They may also perform vehicle maintenance and interact with clients and vendors. 

Responsibilities 

• Transport company staff or goods to and from designated locations
• Follow traffic laws and company safety regulations
• Maintain the vehicle's cleanliness and roadworthiness
• Ensure the vehicle has enough gas to reach its destination
• Develop and follow efficient routes to ensure punctuality
• Adjust travel plans as needed
• Represent the company professionally

• To be a company driver, you typically need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, excellent communication skills, knowledge of traffic laws, the ability to read maps and follow directions, physical capability to load and unload goods, and often a high school diploma or equivalent; prior experience as a company driver may also be preferred depending on the role.

• Valid driver's license: A current and clean driving license is essential for any driving position. 
• Clean driving record: A history of safe driving with minimal traffic violations is required. 
• Physical ability: Must be physically capable of loading and unloading cargo.
