• Operate and drive container vans to transport goods and materials between designated locations, including ports, warehouses, and client sites.
• Safely transport goods or passengers while adhering to traffic regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels, to ensure safe operation.
• Ensure proper loading and securing of containers, verifying cargo against manifests and preventing shifting or damage during transit.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations, including hours of service (HOS) rules and hazardous material handling procedures.
• Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports, ensuring timely submission of all required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules, potential delays, and any issues encountered on the road.
