Job Title: IT Section Manager for SAP FICO

Job Purpose:

  • The IT Section Manager for SAP FICO is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, working closely with finance and IT stakeholders, and ensuring SAP solutions align with business processes and objectives. The IT Section Manager for SAP FICO will also be involved in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration projects.


General Job Description:


  1. SAP FICO Management
  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP FI and CO modules.
  • Manages other processes such as overseeing the configuration, customization, and integration of SAP FICO modules to support financial operations.
  • Ensure SAP systems align with financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and local regulations in the Philippines.


  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Finance, Controlling, and IT teams to analyze business processes and provide SAP-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, HR).
  • Work with external consultants and vendors for system enhancements and support.
  1. Leadership and Team Management
  • Manage and mentor a team of SAP functional specialists.
  • Provide training and knowledge sharing to internal stakeholders.
  • Establish best practices for SAP FICO usage across the organization.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, updates, and innovations in SAP FICO and financial technologies.


  1. System Optimization and Support
  • Continuously assess and enhance SAP FICO functionality to meet evolving business needs.
  • Lead troubleshooting and issue resolution in coordination with technical teams.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with change management processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

要件

Required Technical Skills:


  • Graduate of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting or any other related courses
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP FICO implementation, support, or management.
  • At least 3 years of working experience on SAP FI and CO Modules - General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Asset Management, Treasury, Budget Planning & Control, Internal Audit.
  • At least 2 years of working experience on configuration of SAP FI, CO Modules in IMG based on business requirements.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in SAP BPC or any similar financial budgeting and planning systems or tools.
  • Proven experience managing SAP projects in a leadership role.
  • SAP certification in FICO is an advantage.

  • Can manage and handle multiple projects and deliverables at the same time (multi-skilled and multi-faceted).
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting standards, and taxation in the Philippines.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration.
  • Familiarity with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and BW.
  • With background or exposure to ABAP (Advance Business Application Programming) in SAP; knowledgeable on Report Painter Tool
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
