Job title: Marketing & Creative Assistant

  • Remote | PHP 16, 000-20, 000 monthly | 20 hrs/week (Part-time)
  • AEST availability (Sydney time), e.g. 9:30am–1:30pm AEST Mon–Fri

(or 5 hrs/day Mon–Thu)


About the Client

You’ll be supporting an Australian creator-led business in the dance/education space with a large back-catalogue of video content and an active audience across YouTube and Facebook. The work is practical, fast-moving, and focused on getting consistent content out the door-without overcomplicating things.


Your Impact

Within 90 days, you’ll help the creator publish short-form content consistently, reduce the weekly “content bottleneck”, and build a simple, repeatable workflow that keeps momentum. This isn’t about perfection- it’s about reliable output, clean execution, and steady improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Repurpose existing long-form videos into YouTube Shorts using an efficient workflow (AI clip generation + selection + light editing).
  • Create batches of draft shorts, flag the strongest clips, and refine them so they’re clear, watchable, and on-brand.
  • Apply a consistent style using existing templates (captions/look & feel), with small improvements over time.
  • Export, upload, and schedule Shorts to the YouTube channel (titles, basic metadata, consistency).
  • Create/update thumbnails in Canva using provided templates (no need to design from scratch).
  • Track performance basics (views, retention, simple trends) and share a weekly snapshot to guide what to double down on.
  • Communicate daily: end-of-day update covering what you did / what didn’t work / what’s next / blockers.
  • As capacity allows (later stage): cross-post selected Shorts to Facebook/Instagram and assist with simple marketing admin (e.g., basic newsletter or opt-in support using existing tools/templates).


Must-Have Qualifications (Self-Check)

  • 2+ years editing short-form content (Shorts/Reels/TikTok) with a focus on speed + clarity
  • Comfortable working with Filmora (Wondershare) or willing to learn it quickly (and/or propose a faster tool that achieves the same outcome)
  • Confident uploading and scheduling content on YouTube
  • Canva skills (template-based thumbnails and simple visual assets)
  • Strong English comprehension (you can judge whether a clip “makes sense” and catch awkward cut points)
  • Proactive communicator: you raise blockers early and don’t disappear
  • Can work within AEST overlap and provide daily EOD updates
  • Reliable home setup: stable internet, headset, and a distraction-managed workspace


Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience using YouTube optimisation tools (e.g., vidIQ/keyword tools) for titles and basic SEO
  • Experience repurposing content across Facebook/Instagram (platform-specific formatting awareness)
  • Familiarity with newsletter/email platforms (Kajabi/Mailchimp/Beehiiv or similar)
  • A strong creative eye: you can suggest small tweaks that lift quality without adding hours


Success Outcomes (30/60/90 Days)


  • 30 Days: You can run the full Shorts workflow end-to-end with minimal supervision; publish consistently (target range: 8–15 Shorts/week, depending on complexity), with clean captions and sensible clip selection.
  • 60 Days: You help lock in a repeatable “house style” (templates + do/don’t examples), reduce rework, and improve titles/thumbnails consistency.
  • 90 Days: Publishing is steady and predictable; weekly reporting is clear; turnaround time improves; the creator feels confident the content machine runs without chasing.
