Safety Officer 3

• Must have completed the required SO3 training accredited by DOLE/BWC, which includes:
• 40-hours Basic OSH (BOSH) or COSH
• 48-hours SO2 training
• 40-hours SO3 specialization training
• Preferably a graduate of a related course (Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or equivalent).

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of DOLE OSH standards (RA 11058, DO 198-18, DO 252-25).
• Proficient in hazard assessment methods and risk management techniques.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Effective communication and training skills.
• Ability to lead safety initiatives and coordinate multi-department OSH activities.
• Physically fit and capable of conducting inspections across different work areas.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules (if required by the company).
• Must be of good moral character and high integrity.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of full-time experience in OSH, safety management, risk management, or related fields (as required for SO3 level competency).
• Experience in safety program development, incident investigation, and compliance audits.
