Early year of 1999 saw the birth of the clinic when a group of ambitious medical practioners and professionals convened and thus, Prosperity Medical Clinic & Laboratory, Inc. ( PMCLI ) was born. In the same year, PMCLI was duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and accredited by the Department of Health (DOH), Philippine Overseas & Employment Administration (POEA) and the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) to conduct pre-employment medical screening of workers for both sea-based and land-based employment here and abroad.site. PMCLI employs a team of highly-qualified medical practitioners, professionals and hardworking staff in their respective field of endeavor.
The Clinic was originally located at 2nd Floor, Esther Building, 1945 Taft Avenue, Malate, Manila. However, in the 4th quarter of 2005, due to rental increase of the original site, the Clinic’s Management transferred the Clinic to a new location, seeing to it that the quality of its medical services, as well as the convenience of its clients, is not adversely affected nor compromised.
December 2005 came, the Clinic relocated to its new and present abode at Units 4, 5, 7,10 & 11 of RVA Building, 858 Remedios St., Malate, Manila which is just several meters away from the original site.
The board meeting in March 2006 paved way for the establishment of a satellite branch in Iloilo City. The necessary plans and preparations were then made and the construction works began in May 2006. In early 2007, certifications/accreditations were completed and hence, PMCLI – Iloilo was finally put into operation at the Ground & 2nd Floors of Raymundo Ong Building, No. 40 Quezon St., Iloilo City. True to its mandate of providing a better clinic and ensuring a quality service that exceeds customer satisfaction, PMCI was duly registered with the ISO 9001 (International Standard Organization) under Bureau Veritas Certification 1828, in March 2007.
