Metro Gear Construction Corporation (MGCC), is a family- owned corporation, started its operations on November 18, 2014 and presently holds office at Emerald Compound, Purok 3, Brgy. Magdum, 8100 Tagum City, Davao del Norte, Philippines. It started its operation by engaging in private construction projects. By 2017, MGCC has started to venture on government projects in Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) within Davao de Oro. MGCC has made its name in the field of construction with its competent engineers and the growing number of skilled workers focusing on commitment to deliver products and services crafted with quality workmanship. Assuring a great back up for its operations, MGCC ties up with its sister company- De Oro Valley Corporation on 2017, owning various quarry sites located in various areas of Davao del Norte and Davao de Oro. Providing timely and quality aggregates to projects within the area and most especially to the projects of MGCC. In 2021, Orocrete Ready Mix Concrete another major back up company has been established to make sure that MGCC operations will continue to deliver quality infrastructure by providing strong, durable and high quality ready mix concrete to its projects. The former President and CEO – Freddie S. Bandong , has made a mark of excellence and constant room for improvements. Company policies and procedures has been crafted and enhanced from time- to- time to ensure over-all performance of the company. By 2020, the company has been accredited by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has given a certification on ISO 9001:2015- Quality Management Systems. Currently the team is headed by its President- Engr. Rey Paul C. Abordo with its competent management team and workforce, continually strives to deliver quality workmanship to its projects and services. MGCC concentrates on building quality public infrastructures. Thus, being aware of its part in bringing development to the community and the country, MGCC remains committed in delivering quality output for every projects and services it renders. Engaging in general construction, including general engineering, general building and electrical works and is always open for bigger and brighter opportunities of sharing its culture to everyone along the way.
