The Warehouse Head shall plan, lead, organize and oversee the whole warehouse operations from turnover of finished goods from Production to Distribution. Supervises outside Plant Product Warehousing activities such as product deposits, withdrawals, blast freezing operations and other related activities (e.g. Ice plant). Ensures the proper execution of an effective operating system that leads to the production of quality and food-safe products, in compliance with customer product specifications and Food Safety Management System standards.
Responsibilities
Carried out all management directives within the management organization
Oversees the operation of the department by ensuring conformance to Safety, GMP and FSMS requirements
Oversee periodical physical inventory against stock location system, cycle count (physical inventory and reconciles variances), stock movement report and SMFI Finance inventory.
Analyzes daily, weekly and monthly stock movement report (finished goods & RM/PM) for inventory accuracy as to avoid ageing/product spoilage and inventory variances.
Ensure proper stock rotation (FEFO, FIFO, LIFO) for all items within the maintained storage facilities.
Ensure 5S for all storage facilities such as but not limited to Blast Freezers, Holding Rooms, Cold Storages, Dry WH, WH Office & Ice Plant Storage to provide a safe and healthy environment at all times.
Prepare & submit periodical report or as needed.
Adherence to Company Rules and Regulations.
Undertakes special projects or technical studies as requested.
Communicate with other department(external/internal) for any concerns and coordination with regards to poultry processing plant operation and provide appropriate corrective actions to address issues/concerns within operational scope.
Perform other related duties as may be assigned either in support of company goal or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management and Business Management, or a related field is an advantage.
Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a senior warehouse and supply and inventory operational roles in a poultry dressing plant.
Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent knowledge of standard poultry processing production, biosecurity, food safety, SAP controls, inventory, and variance management.
Highly mobile and/or can travel anywhere in the country at any time.
With solid exposure on plant operation productivity indexes.
Expert on manning and deployment optimizations.
Warehouse FIFO / FEFO effective implementations.
Continual and systemic production line balancing improvement.
