Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any related field

·        1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or pricing; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply

·        Solid understanding of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and freight rate structures

·        Skilled in vendor and carrier negotiation, as well as cost analysis

·        Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other analytical or reporting tools

·        Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities

·        Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines

Job Responsibilities:

·        Prepare, analyze, and provide competitive freight quotations for air, sea, and land shipments (import/export).

·        Evaluate and negotiate freight rates with carriers, shipping lines, and overseas agents to ensure cost efficiency and profitability.

·        Maintain updated rate sheets and tariffs from various shipping and airline partners.

·        Coordinate closely with the Sales, Operations, and Procurement teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of quotations.

·        Support the Sales team by providing quick and accurate rate proposals to meet client requirements.

·        Monitor market trends, carrier surcharges, and seasonal rate fluctuations to ensure competitiveness.

·        Maintain a strong relationship with international agents and partners for rate inquiries and negotiations.

·        Ensure all quotations comply with company policies, client agreements, and profit margin guidelines.

·        Review shipment details to confirm correct costing before final booking.

·        Prepare and update rate comparison reports for management decision-making.

·        Support in pricing strategies, tenders, and contract rate submissions for key accounts.

·        Collaborate with Finance to validate cost structures and ensure accurate billing based on agreed rates.

·        Continuously seek opportunities to improve pricing processes and enhance response time to customers.
