- Collect samples according to standardized procedures and protocols.
- Label and document samples accurately, including location, time, and method of collection.
- Use specialized equipment for sampling (e.g., pumps, containers, meters).
- Ensure samples are preserved and transported properly to maintain integrity.
- Maintain detailed records and logs for all sampling activities.
- Adhere to safety and environmental regulations during fieldwork.
- Coordinate with lab personnel for analysis and reporting.
- Calibrate and maintain sampling tools and equipment.
- Report any anomalies or potential hazards found during sampling.
- High school diploma or vocational course (associate degree or related certification preferred).
- Background in environmental science, chemistry, or a related field is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory and sampling procedures.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Good physical condition for fieldwork and travel.
