وصف الوظيفة

  • Support Curriculum & Instructional Excellence
  • Co-plan lessons with teachers by participating in discussions, contributing ideas and suggestions for lessons and behaviour support, and carrying out learning activities
  • Assist teachers in preparing the learning environments, including preparing materials and resources for teaching and learning.
  • Work with teachers to maintain the classroom environment, facilities and other resources for maximum engagement of students in their learning.
  • Assist students, individually or in groups, during lesson delivery and help to present or reinforce learning concepts following lesson planning
  • Assist with the health, medical, safety and daily living needs of the students.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or an associate degree in education or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of child development and educational practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student learning and development.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and classroom management tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing needs in the classroom.
