Position: Steel Fixer

Location: Bound for Dubai

Department: Construction / Site Operations

Reports To: Site Supervisor / Foreman / Structural Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Steel Fixers to cut, bend, position, and tie rebar and mesh for reinforced concrete structures. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in construction work, excellent knowledge of steel reinforcement techniques, and strong attention to structural specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, bend, and shape steel bars and mesh using hand and power tools
• Tie rebar securely using wire, pliers, and other tools
• Position and fix rebar and steel mesh in place before concrete pouring
• Ensure the correct spacing, alignment, and placement of reinforcement
• Work with crane operators and other trades to lift and place large rebar assemblies
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Inspect materials and report any damages or defects
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist in concrete pours and structural checks as needed

• Willing to work in DUBAI
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Prior experience as a steel fixer in construction, preferably on large-scale projects
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and reinforcement schedules
• Skilled in using cutting, bending, and tying tools and machinery
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work in demanding environments
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
• Team player with good communication and time-management skills
