SAP Tester (Remote work)

Project: for a long term SAP project in Japan.

Work location: Remote work

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute test cases for System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
• Document test results, evidence, and defects clearly and accurately.
• Log and track defects using tools such as SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, Jira, or similar.
• Retest defects after fixes and support regression cycles.
• Support data migration testing, interface testing, and authorization testing.
• Ensure adherence to organizational quality standards and SAP best practices.

For Senior/Lead Tester role:

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA testing activities including SIT/UAT/Performance Testing.
• Define and execute test strategy, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Manage defect lifecycle using tools such as Q-test or SAP ALM
• Coordinate testing across multiple SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, WM/EWM, and others.

Requirements:

• Have 1 to 20 years of SAP testing experience, S/4HANA exposure preferred.
• Basic understanding of SAP business processes (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.).
• Familiarity with test execution and defect management processes.
• Experience using test/defect tracking tools.
• Good documentation and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multicultural environment.
• Languages: Chinese(important), English-intermediate, Japanese is preferred but not mandatory.
