What Does a Technical Sales Assistant Do?

A Technical Sales Assistant supports the sales team by:

• Providing technical knowledge and administrative assistance
• Preparing sales documents and quotes
• Handling customer inquiries
• Coordinating between the operations and sales departments to ensure customer needs are met accurately and efficiently

In Layman's Terms, What Does the Job Entail?

• We need someone who will help generate more sales — an agent who can broker a relationship between us and potential clients
• Someone knowledgeable in technicalities, or at least someone who picks up information very easily(madaling matuto)
• Someone flexible, reliable, and works with integrity (that goes without saying)

General Requirements

• Do we need a diploma? Not necessarily. We value wisdom gained from experience as well.
• What kind of experience do we require?
• Experience working in the field of Engineering and Construction
• Experience in Sales in a technical setting

Skill Requirements

• Interpersonal Skills – We need a "people person" who can build rapport with anyone, especially clients and colleagues
• Proficiency in the English Language
• Basic Computer Skills – Able to operate a computer, navigate the internet, and use basic applications such as Microsoft Word
• Can Navigate Through Social Media and Other Apps –
• Sales through social media marketing is part of the role
• Sometimes, we keep it old school — like handing out flyers and meeting clients face to face
