The Safety Officer 2 ensures full compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations. This role is responsible for implementing and monitoring safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety across all company operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and update company safety policies and procedures in line with government regulations (e.g., DOLE OSH Standards).
• Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Lead incident investigations and prepare reports with corrective and preventive action plans.
• Facilitate safety orientations, training sessions, and emergency drills for employees and contractors.
• Maintain accurate safety records and submit reports to management and regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe practices in construction, installation, and maintenance activities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related concerns and compliance audits.

Qualifications

• Must be a DOLE-accredited Safety Officer 2 (SO2).
• At least 2 years of experience in safety management, preferably in construction, engineering, or renewable energy industries.
• Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills.
