- Review drawings, specifications, and bid packages of projects and identify safety issues
- Review Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
- Conduct regular site safety inspections
- Represent the company to clients as Safety Officer
- Prepare safety reports for circulation and submission to Head Office
- Attend to victims of accidents
- Investigate and report causes and circumstances of accidents or dangerous occurrences
- Conduct trainings and seminars related to safety matters and concerns
- Maintain and update the Safety Manual
- Serve as secretary to the health and safety committee
- Help achieve objectives and compliance of the construction industry in relation to quality and standards
- Perform other functions that may be assigned by superiors
- Requires college graduate and safety training/seminar (COSH)
- Requires at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigation
- Good command of English
- Computer literate
