Responsibilities

• Responsible for the proper display, arrangement, replenishment, housekeeping and selling of store merchandise.
• Monitors the inventory of all items handled. Timely conducts physical inventory of items to check for under and/or over stocks.
• Helps the department officers/Branch Head in analyzing suggested quantity of merchandise for reorder.
• Ensures that all items in the selling area have the necessary DTI marks and barcodes for easier POS transactions and customer information.
• Assists customers in determining the preferred purchase as well as explain to them each merchandise features, proper usage and maintenance. Practices suggestive selling to fill in customer’s requirements.
• Conducts product demonstration to customers after payment to check the quality, making sure that it is functioning properly before release to customer.
• Aids in the customer service department in handling return/exchange of merchandise.
• Renders high impact customer service to all patrons making sure that they are satisfied and well-taken care of.
• Has in-depth knowledge of the existing promotions and sale activities in the store for
• customer information.
• Acts as Cashier-reliever during Cashier’s rest day and break schedules.
