1.     Managing the procurement of various non-trade items such as:

·       Local and imported machines

·       Local and imported spare parts

·       Electrical, mechanical, and construction materials

·       Medical supplies for the clinic

·       Office supplies

·       Laboratory supplies for the Quality Department

2.     Contacting suppliers via phone and email to obtain price quotations.

3.     Encoding quoted prices onto Requisition Slips for approval by the AVP and/or EVP for Operations.

4.     Encoding approved prices onto the Canvass Sheet.

5.     Preparing Purchase Orders for AVP or EVP for Operations approval.

6.     Sending approved purchase orders to suppliers.

7.     Following up on deliveries to ensure timely arrival.

1.    A graduate of any engineering, business-related, or relevant courses.

2.    Minimum of one (1) years of proven work experience as a Procurement Officer in a Manufacturing or Processing Plant

3.    Computer literate (spreadsheets, word processing, etc.) and with sap background.

4.    Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.

5.    Possessed excellent negotiation skills.

6.    Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
