Variance Trading Corporation is one of the leading distributors of high-quality medical equipment and consumable nationwide.

We are urgently in need of a International Purchasing Assistant (RELIEVER) for 4 months who shares the same goals and passion in providing high-quality healthcare products and services in developing health status and quality life.


Responsible for the accurate and most cost-efficient procurement of items from foreign suppliers to ensure that all sales order is served.


  • Communicates to the Principal/Manufacturers of the products (Medical Equipment/Devices) source out abroad and assists on other local products that the company is carrying through constant email and/or over the phone to coordinate the following concerns/queries below:
  • Product Inquiry, brochure and its technical specifications
  • Price Inquiry and haggling for discounts
  • Placing of orders
  • Classify terms of payment, terms of trade and transportation
  • Proforma Invoice (PI)
  • Documents for the Bidding and Regulatory reference
  • Sample Prototype/Demo units
  • Secures final approval of all Purchase Orders and submits approved copy to suppliers
  • Updates/provides the Sales and Marketing personnel for the foregoing and up-coming products needed for promotion, registration and accreditation of products
  • Provides the accounting with the Proforma Invoice for the Telegraphic Transfer (TT) Payment processing as well as coordinates the status of the Telex transaction with VTC accounting or directly to the bank
  • Coordinates with Sales and Marketing teams for the maintenance of sufficient inventory for the sales forecasts
  • Submits weekly monitoring of Local Purchases including status of delivery to Customer Care Manager and Management
  • Performs other duties assigned by the Customer Care Manager or Management


Experience & Knowledge:

  • Proactively build and maintain good relationship with suppliers and cross department
  • Negotiate cost saving where possible
  • Assess suppliers offers and quotations and haggle the price as possible and payment terms
  • Ensuring needed documents for new suppliers before any transaction have been made and for future references
  • Familiarity of medical suppliers (Outsource)
  • Securing data on previous transaction from various suppliers
  • Coordinate product specification to sales team and provide support and assistant to their local outsource concerns
  • Monitor status of purchased order and provide update to manager
  • Resolve cross-department issues through proper coordination and working on the issues to provide solution to the problem


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any business or customs related course
  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
  • Highly knowledgeable in using SAP System
  • Strong decision-making and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Amenable to work in V. Luna, Quezon City
