As a Warranty Engineer, you will be responsible for managing warranty claims and ensuring the quality and reliability of diesel engines used in our power plant installation projects. This role involves providing technical support to customers and field teams, analyzing warranty data, and collaborating with various departments to enhance product performance. The Warranty Engineer plays a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding the standards of our Japanese brand diesel engines.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the warranty claim process, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely resolution of customer issues.

• Analyze warranty data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and areas for product improvement.

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and field service teams regarding diesel engine operations and maintenance.

• Conduct on-site inspections and troubleshooting for warranty-related problems.

• Maintain accurate records of warranty claims, technical reports, and customer feedback.

• Prepare and present warranty performance metrics and reports to management.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement product improvements based on warranty analysis.

• Develop and maintain training materials for internal staff and customers on diesel engine maintenance and warranty processes.

• Monitor industry trends and advancements in diesel engine technology to ensure compliance with best practices.

• Participate in cross-departmental meetings to address warranty-related issues and enhance overall product quality.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Engineering Director.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in warranty management or technical support for diesel engines or heavy machinery.

• Strong knowledge of diesel engine operations, warranty processes, and quality assurance practices.

• Proficient in using warranty management software and Microsoft Office applications.

• Proficient in CAD

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Ability to lead and motivate teams with effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

• Willingness to travel for on-site inspections and support as needed.
