Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain process documentation ensuring that processes and procedures are clearly stated and understandable for all employees
• Monitor and report issues with injection molds, making recommendations for refurbishment based on production factors such as cycle time, process capability, and tooling history
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to process technicians, mold setters, and material handlers
• Provide technical support/solutions to manufacturing processes, improve yield and throughput, drive cost reduction activities, and improve part quality
• Work independently on new process development as well as troubleshooting current production issues
• Facilitate and support facility and manufacturing safety, environmental, and ergonomics efforts
• Maintain and update MRM report
• Involve in ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 audits
• Minimize COPQ by initiating preparation of Limit Samples and issuance of Mould Repair/Modification Requisition Job Sheets
• Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification
• Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
• Perform process simulations
• Optimize processes to meet objectives of lowering cost and/or improving productivity

Job Requirements

Must-Have

• Minimum Diploma/Certificate in Engineering or Manufacturing Injection Molding
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing injection molding
• Proficient in English and Malay

Good-to-Have

• Lean Six Sigma
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office
