The Financial Reporting and Tax Senior Associate is responsible for overseeing and managing the preparation, accuracy and compliance of financial reports. This position also supports the senior management with relevant financial insights and ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

MAJOR:

• Preparation of month-end and year-end closing reports
• Review of tax returns and work sheets
• Responsible for Netsuite data upload and management
• Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

MINOR:

• Lead, mentor and provide guidance and/or training to associates
• Maintenance and monitoring of tax and closing calendar
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely submission of closing reports Participate in special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests from senior management or external stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. Accountancy/Accounting Technology/Management Accounting
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)
• At least 2-3 years work experience
• Must be detail-oriented, MS Excel savvy, quick with numbers
• Has working knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws
• Proficient in accounting software and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Has good communication and problem-solving skills
• Has strong analytical skills
• Can work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Can work diligently with little or no supervision
• Experience working in an external audit firm (preferred)
