- Guide heavy equipment operators in safely and efficiently operating their equipment using hand signals and verbal communication.
- Identify and communicate hazards to the operator, such as overhead power lines, uneven terrain, and other workers in the area.
- Direct traffic around heavy equipment, ensuring that workers and vehicles are kept safe.
- Monitor the work area for potential hazards and take corrective action as needed.
- Report any accidents or injuries to the appropriate personnel.
- Experience working in a construction or industrial environment
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and its safe operation
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
