We are seeking a highly skilled backend developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in .NET Core, Azure, microservices, SQL, and AKS. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend of our applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement and maintain the backend of our applications using .NET Core, Web Applications, Azure, microservices, SQL, and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
• Build reusable Nuget components.
• Work with Entity Framework to implement database operations.
• Troubleshoot and bug fixes.
• Review code developed by other Developers.
• Collaborate with project managers on work planning, sharing new ideas, and code demonstrations.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Understand functional requirements.
• Design and code current and new business functionality in the strategic platform.
• Ensure solutions conform to best practice design.
• Strong communication and team-working skills.
• Pro-active and cooperative attitude.
• Managing deployment of applications.
• Excellent Analytical ability and showing keen interest to learn new platforms and technologies.
• Experience in Insurance/Reinsurance domains will be an added bonus.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 6+ years’ experience working in .NET application development.
• 2+ years of experience in developing applications in .NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of C#, Entity Framework, and code versioning tool GIT.
• Experience implementing RESTful APIs, .NET middleware, and dependency injection.
• Understanding of Kubernetes and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Development Languages – Knowledge on Server-Side program languages like .NET (using C#) on .NET Core / .NET 5.0.
• Devops - Worked on Standard Devops tools using git repository, build and deployment tools like Azure Devops and GitHub, JIRA
• Strong experience in microservices, SQL, and AKS.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Education:

• Minimum of 4-year degree in an Information Technology field or something similar
