الوصف

A merchandiser is a strategic role that involves analyzing sales data, sourcing new products, updating systems with the latest products and maintaining planograms for optimal product placement. This position requires a combination of analytical skills, creativity, and attention to detail to ensure that products are displayed attractively, priced competitively, and readily available to meet customer needs. 


1. Analysis and Sourcing:

a.  Identify the button 10 less saleable items weekly

b.  Find replacement of items

c.  Seek approval during weekly meetings .

d.  Phase out the approved items and replace them with incoming items .

 

2. Sourcing and Procurement:

a.  Source new merchandise from reputable suppliers based on market trends and customer demand.

b.  Source corporate order to immediately serve client

c.  Ensure timely procurement and delivery of new inventory to maintain product availability.

 

3. Cost Control:

a.  Merchandisers are responsible for calculating the pricing of items, which must be approved by finance before implementation.

b.  Implement cost control measures with a minimum margin of 10% for fresh items (perishable within 7 days) and 30% for items with a regular shelf life (minimum of 3 months). Round off to the nearest tenths . With minimum SRP of 20 pesos.

 

4. Product Updates and Integration:

a.  Approved products should be Manually database in Gdrive for product rate sheet master list.

b.  Once approved by finance , input the items on the system and indicate the indicated cost , SRP , supplier name and PAR value.

c.  Update product buttons on the Vending Management System (VMS), Hub Point of Sale (POS) system, and catalog. All similar for consistency.

d.  Seamlessly integrate new items into the systems to ensure accurate product information and pricing.

 

5. Planogram Maintenance:

a.  Initial Planogram:Merchandisers should maintain the initial planogram for deployment.

b.  Flexible Planogram:This is designed for machines with highly dynamic procedures to enhance sales results.

c.  Planogram Cycle:

                      i.    Initial planogram: 30-day trial period.

                     ii.    Flexible planogram: Rotate the bottom 10 units with new products in a continuous cycle.



COVER SHIFT: 

Performs any tasks assigned / directed to their subordinates in their absence 


OTHERS 

Undertake other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time. 

● Preferably with experience working as Warehouse Associate, Logistics Officer, Cashier or related fields.  

● 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar role in a related retail environment

● Knowledge in retail operations and experience in managing inventory

● Willing to travel
