Client Assessment:

• Massage therapists assess clients' medical history, current conditions, and treatment goals to determine appropriate massage techniques. 

Massage Therapy:

• They perform various massage techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and other modalities, to relieve pain, reduce muscle tension, and improve circulation. 

Treatment Planning:

• Massage therapists develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and preferences. 

Documentation:

• They maintain accurate records of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress. 

Client Education:

• Massage therapists provide guidance on stretching, strengthening, relaxation techniques, and other health and wellness practices. 

Hygiene and Cleanliness:

• They maintain a clean and sanitized workspace and equipment. 

Collaboration:

• Massage therapists may collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, physiotherapists, and chiropractors, to develop comprehensive treatment plans. 

Customer Service:

• Massage therapists are responsible for creating a relaxing and positive experience for clients. 

Service Offering Guidance:

• They guide clients through service offerings and help them determine which massages would benefit them most.

Adjusting Techniques:

• Massage therapists listen to clients during appointments and adjust techniques as needed.
