  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of machine tools, machining processes, and blueprint reading. 
  • Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using hand tools and operating machinery with precision. 
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality in machining. 
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues with machines or parts. 
  • Mathematical Skills: Knowledge of mathematics for measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation. 
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks. 
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, other machinists, and other team members. 


  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a manual machinist
  • Strong understanding of machining principles and safe shop practices
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school a plus
