- Monitor daily warehouse operations to ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, identifying hazards and reporting unsafe conditions or behaviors.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all staff.
- Support the development and delivery of safety training and toolbox talks.
- Assist in accident/incident investigations and prepare detailed reports.
- Act as a Fire Marshal and First Responder in case of emergencies.
- Ensure emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits are accessible and in working condition.
- Participate in risk assessments and help implement corrective actions.
- Encourage safety awareness and compliance through communication and example.
- Work closely with the Health and Safety team to maintain regulatory compliance
- Criminology Graduate or Undergraduate
- Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or safety-related role is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
- Physically fit and able to conduct inspections in all areas of the warehouse.
