- Conduct land surveys using specialized equipment to measure distances, angles, and elevations.
- Prepare detailed maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveyed areas.
- Analyze survey data and ensure accuracy in measurements for construction, mapping, and boundary determination.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide necessary survey information.
- Verify property boundaries and identify potential legal issues related to land ownership.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a land surveyor in construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and GIS software.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, and legal property descriptions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and reporting.
