We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Jr. Accountant with strong expertise in BIR compliance and disbursement processing. This role will ensure the company’s financial operations meet all regulatory requirements and internal standards, particularly within the fast-paced retail environment.

• Prepare and file all required BIR reports and tax returns (VAT, EWT, ITR, 2550M/Q, 1702, 1601-E/C, etc.)
• Handle and process all types of disbursements, including vendor payments, reimbursements, and other operational expenses
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all financial transactions
• Reconcile purchases and expenses with inventory and POS reports
• Maintain organized records for audit and compliance purposes
• Assist in monthly financial reporting and year-end closing activities
• Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies as needed
• Collaborate with retail operations to support day-to-day financial needs

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field
• 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a retail or trading set up
• Strong working knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR compliance
• Proven experience in disbursement processing and general accounting functions
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/Quick books online
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed CPA is a plus
• Familiarity with POS and inventory systems
• Experience in the retail or collectibles industry
