Position Title: Construction Worker (Installer / Mason / Carpenter)

Job Summary:

The Construction Worker performs skilled and semi-skilled tasks such as installation, masonry, and carpentry in support of building projects. The role ensures that construction work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and DOLE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

General Construction Duties:

• Assist in site preparation, material handling, and installation activities
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
• Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team productivity
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the worksite
• Comply with DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) at all times

Installer Duties:

• Install fixtures, fittings, tiles, windows, doors, or other building components
• Measure, cut, and fit materials according to specifications
• Perform finishing works ensuring proper alignment and quality installation

Mason Duties:

• Mix and apply mortar, cement, or concrete to construct walls, floors, pavements, and other structures
• Lay bricks, blocks, tiles, and stones in correct alignment
• Repair and maintain existing masonry work

Carpenter Duties:

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood or other materials for frameworks, furniture, or structural elements
• Build and repair furniture, scaffolding, partitions, and wooden fixtures
• Install doors, windows, and other wooden fittings

Qualifications:

• At least High School Graduate (Vocational or TESDA NC II/III certification in Masonry, Carpentry, or related skills preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an installer, mason, or carpenter
• Knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or work drawings
• Physically fit to perform manual labor and endure site conditions
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays when required

Work Location & Schedule:

• Assigned construction project site
• Mondays to Saturdays (or project-defined schedule, following the Labor Code of the Philippines)
