Minimum Qualifications:

• College level or its equivalent with certificate from a vocational school or accredited career training program in HVAC technology
• With 2-3 years of HVAC experience in the operation and maintenance of ACU, boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, refrigerated units
• With food manufacturing industry experience is an advantage

Has taken short courses on : HVAC, Refrigeration, Advanced Industrial and Motor Control, Industrial Electronics

Your scope of responsibilities shall include:

• Operates HVAC machines/equipment and performs mechanical and electrical diagnostic to troubleshoot and repair problems on boilers, chillers, air compressors, ventilation equipment, cooling towers, RO water equipment, pumps, motors, and other associated mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Replaces filters, belts, bearings, motors, pulleys and other HVAC items as necessary.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems on HVAC equipment.
• Conducts air and water sampling/test and other monitoring activities on the equipment.
• Monitors and adjusts parameters and electronic/digital controls of equipment.
• Performs inspection on HVAC equipment and preventive maintenance tasks - changing filters, general cleaning, changing belts, change oil and lubrication
• Reads and interprets blue print, schematics and manufacturer’s instruction manual.
• Plans, lay out, and order materials for HVAC assignments.
• Works with other craftsman to complete assignments; may work outside of specific trade when needed to accomplish an assignment.
• Receives work orders and respond and respond to request in timely manner.
• Reports equipment malfunction or breakdown
• Prepares and requisitions materials needed for maintaining inventory and ensuring its availability for repair/replacement or installation work requirements and its completion.
• Completes service reports on CM/PM to document activities.
• Keeps superior informed of progress in assigned tasks.
• Report to work as required under emergency conditions, during or after office hours.
• Performs other assigned duties such as electrical, plumbing and other miscellaneous repairs.
• Performs other tasks as may be required.
