- Cleaning: Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning windows, mirrors, and other surfaces.
- Laundry: Washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes and linens.
- Bathroom and Kitchen Cleaning: Scrubbing toilets, cleaning sinks, countertops, and appliances.
- Room Organization: Tidying up rooms, making beds, and organizing closets and shelves.
- Trash and Recycling: Emptying trash bins and recycling containers.
- Reporting Issues: Informing management or homeowners of any needed repairs or maintenance.
- Other Tasks: May include grocery shopping, meal preparation, or caring for pets, depending on the specific job requirements.
- Customer Service: Providing a positive and helpful attitude to clients.
- Experience: While not always mandatory, previous experience as a maid or domestic helper is often preferred.
- Skills: Attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work independently are crucial.
- Physical Stamina: Some cleaning tasks require physical exertion, so being able to stand for long periods and lift light objects is important.
- Dependability: Being punctual, reliable, and trustworthy is essential.
- Communication Skills: Being able to communicate effectively with clients and report issues clearly is important.
- Basic Cleaning Knowledge: Understanding cleaning products and techniques is helpful.
