- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy plant equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
- Replace or repair faulty components and systems as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve equipment performance.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to operators and other staff.
- A Vocational course graduate in automotive or any related course.
- Prior experience operating a variety of heavy equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent vision or the use of prescribed lenses.
- Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- • A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines.
- Capacity to provide and follow direction.
- Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure.
- Ability to work extended hours, as required.
- Knowledge in Heavy Equipment such as mobile cranes and 10-wheeler boom trucks. Certified Plant Mechanic.
