Job Description:

Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager, the Revenue Accountant will provide essential accounting and financial oversight for our internal Maintenance and General Contracting (GC) groups. This role requires meticulous management of invoicing, job costing, revenue tracking, and financial analysis. You will collaborate closely with accounting and operational leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting, streamlined invoicing processes, and insightful analysis of revenue and business health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Management & Job Costing:
• Accurately code and job-cost all invoices before entry into Yardi accounting system.
• Post all invoices related to internally managed properties.
• Billing & Invoicing:
• Generate timely and accurate billing for all third-party Maintenance and GC clients.
• Produce and manage progress billing invoices for both internal projects and external GC clients.
• Auditing & Compliance:
• Conduct regular audits of our proprietary internal Drive platform (Salesforce Field Service Lightning) to ensure accurate billables.
• Collaborate with our technology team to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.
• Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare monthly financial reports and present insights to the Director of Maintenance, VP of Construction, and Head of Operations.
• Analyze revenue channels and associated expenses to assess the financial health and performance of individual business lines.

Qualification and requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within property management, construction, or related industries.
• Proficiency with Yardi accounting systems and Salesforce Field Service Lightning preferred.
• Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively liaising with both operational and technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Non-negotiable skills & requirements:

• 1 to 2 years US GAAP
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within property management, construction, or related industries.
• Stable backup internet for remote areas.
