- Maintain lawns by cutting and trimming grass, operating machinery like mowers and trimmers, and cleaning up grounds.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment by performing cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust furniture and fixtures; clean and disinfect surfaces; wash windows, walls, and mirrors; clean and sanitize restrooms and restock supplies.
- Gather and empty trash and recycling bins.
- Replace light bulbs; fix minor issues like clogged toilets; notify supervisors of major repair needs.
- Remove snow and debris from sidewalks; mow lawns and care for other outdoor areas as needed.
- Operate cleaning equipment like floor buffers; maintain cleaning inventories and place orders for new products.
- Follow all safety rules and procedures, especially when using cleaning chemicals; ensure buildings are secure at the end of shifts.
