Job Responsibilities of a Service Crew

Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly and professionally.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently.
• Address customer inquiries, complaints, or requests politely.
• Ensure a positive customer experience at all times.

Food & Beverage Handling (for F&B settings)

• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards.
• Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and quality of products.
• Follow hygiene and food safety regulations strictly.
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed.

Cash Handling & POS Operations

• Operate cash registers, POS systems, or payment terminals.
• Process payments accurately, including cash, card, or digital transactions.
• Issue receipts and balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift.

Cleanliness & Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, dining areas, counters, and equipment.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables properly.
• Follow sanitation standards to prevent contamination or accidents.

Team Collaboration

• Assist coworkers during peak hours or when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, supervisors, and colleagues.
• Participate in training sessions or team meetings as required.

Stock & Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries properly.
• Rotate stock according to “first in, first out” (FIFO) principles.

Adherence to Policies

• Follow company rules, guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Wear proper uniform and maintain a neat appearance.
• Uphold safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents.
