Financial Consultant & Agency Builder

Reports To: Unit Manager


Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial individual for a dual-focus role. You will be responsible for building your own successful book of business by providing expert financial advice and insurance solutions to clients. Concurrently, you will be tasked with identifying, recruiting, and developing a team of new agents to expand the agency's reach and impact. Success in this role is measured by both your personal sales production and the growth and performance of your team.


Responsibilities

Part 1: Personal Production & Client Advisory (The Agent/Consultant)

• Client Acquisition & Prospecting: Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and social media marketing to build a robust pipeline of potential clients.

• Needs Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial reviews with clients to understand their goals, risk tolerance, and financial situation.

• Solution Design & Presentation: Recommend and present tailored financial products, including life insurance, health insurance, retirement plans, investments, and education savings plans.

• Sales Execution: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing the sale and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted promptly.

• Client Relationship Management: Provide ongoing service to existing clients, including annual reviews, policy updates, and claims assistance to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

• Compliance: Adhere strictly to all industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all client interactions and documentation.

Part 2: Recruitment & Team Building (The Agency Builder)

• Talent Sourcing: Proactively recruit and interview potential candidates for agent positions through various channels (job portals, referrals, career events, social media).

• Selection & Onboarding: Identify individuals with the right skills, attitude, and drive. Facilitate their onboarding process, including licensing and initial training.

• Training & Coaching: Mentor and coach new agents on sales techniques, product knowledge, compliance, and professional conduct. Lead regular team meetings and training sessions.

• Team Leadership: Motivate, inspire, and lead your team by example. Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.

• Performance Management: Monitor the sales activity and results of your team members. Provide constructive feedback and develop action plans to help them achieve their targets.

• Career Pathing: Guide your team members in their career development, helping them to grow within the organization, potentially into leadership roles themselves.
