Responsibilities

• The DLP & Data Protection Analyst mitigates risks associated with data loss, exfiltration, and policy violations, complementing Bitdefender’s limited DLP capability. This role focuses on data visibility, access monitoring, and compliance with SOC2 confidentiality and privacy criteria.
• Monitor and investigate data transfer logs, email attachments, and file uploads.
• Identify potential data leakage or unauthorized sharing of sensitive information
• Collaborate with ISO to enforce SOC2 data protection controls.
• Create and maintain DLP rules using available systems (M365 DLP, Firewall, SIEM).
• Conduct regular audits of shared folders, permissions, and USB device usage.
• Prepare monthly DLP compliance reports and assist with user awareness
• Coordinate with HR and Legal for insider threat investigations.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or similar
• 1-2 years of experience in DLP monitoring, compliance, or IT audit.
• Familiarity with DLP tools, M365 Security Center, or CASB platforms
• Knowledge of SOC2 confidentiality and privacy requirements
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001 Implementer, or CDPSE.
• Highly attentive to detail and compliance-oriented.
• Strong communication and coordination with multiple departments.
• Analytical mindset for detecting patterns in user behavior.
• Ok to work on site in Ortigas Pasig and Araneta Cubao
• Ok to work in ant shift schedule
