Position Overview: 

As a Mortgage Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of loan applicants seeking mortgage loans. This role involves thorough financial analysis, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with lending regulations. 

• Financial Analysis: Review and analyse applicants' financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess their creditworthiness. 
• Credit Evaluation: Evaluate and interpret credit scores, debt-to-income ratios, and other financial indicators to determine loan eligibility. 
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks associated with loan applicants and make informed decisions on loan approvals. 
• Documentation: Assist clients in gathering necessary documents and ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete. 
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal and state lending regulations and internal policies. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with real estate agents, loan officers, and other stakeholders to facilitate the mortgage lending process. 
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on loan applications and credit evaluations to management. 
• Monitoring: Track and monitor existing mortgage loans to ensure continued creditworthiness of borrowers. 

• Must have 2 years of experience in mortgage lending, credit analysis, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Proficient with Mercury ApplyOnline, MyCRM and other relevant software tools.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with financial software and loan processing systems.
