• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from a reputable institution.
• Admitted to the Philippine Bar in good standing.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in energy, M&A, deal work, and complex contracts, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Strong understanding of Philippine energy, corporate laws, securities regulations, and international transaction practices.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, including merger agreements, acquisition documents, joint ventures, and financing arrangements.
• Conduct due diligence for M&A transactions, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Provide strategic legal advice on energy matters, deal structuring, compliance, and post-transaction integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including partners, associates, and external stakeholders, to deliver client-focused solutions.
• Stay abreast of evolving laws and regulations in energy, corporate and transactional law.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to firm-wide knowledge sharing.
