  1. Upholds the policies, rules and regulations of the Hospital particularly those relating to Collection. Demonstrates commitment to quality service delivery.
  2. Reviews and approves statement of accounts to be sent to accredited companies, HMOs and religious organizations.
  3. Monitors collection of accounts receivables from accredited companies, HMOs and religious organizations. Ensures reminder letters with report on outstanding receivables are sent regularly.
  4. Confers with staff and resolves escalated issues or concerns regarding corporate accounts. Coordinates with different hospital units as appropriate.
  5. Ensures monthly reconciliation with Accounting department is made for updated and congruent accounts receivable reports of both.
  6. Monitors resubmission and collection of returned claims as well as submission of BIR form 2307 of accredited companies and HMOs, as applicable.
  7. Receives and addresses concerns by accredited companies, HMOs and religious organizations, as needed, in an appropriate and timely manner.
  8. Prepares accurately and submits required reports regularly.
  9. Recommends appropriate action with regards to problematic corporate accounts.
  10. Recommends improvements on or new activities, policies, systems and procedures relating to corporate accounts to ensure timely submission, reconciliation / adjudication, follow-up, collection and posting of claims.
  11. Coordinates with Collection Supervisor, Accounting Dept. Head and Medical Director regarding accreditation of companies and HMOs.
  12. Supervises staff job performance. Conducts performance appraisal to realign their performance to the achievement of unit’s goals. 
  13. Recommends staff’s application for leave and overtime.

14. Submits the following reports:

  • Monthly Status Report of Corporate Accounts
  • List of Suspended Corporate Accounts, as needed
  • Other reports relating to corporate accounts, as needed

15. Performs other special assignments as may be assigned from time to time.
