A Maintenance Staff member performs general upkeep, repair, and installation of machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure buildings and systems operate efficiently and safely. Key duties include conducting routine inspections, performing preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, handling carpentry and general repairs, responding to maintenance requests, and maintaining detailed logs of all activities. 

Core Responsibilities

• Inspections and Diagnostics: Regularly inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential issues, malfunctions, or needs for repair. 
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and facility systems operate optimally and prevent breakdowns. 
• Repairs and Installations: Perform minor to moderate repairs, such as fixing plumbing, electrical, or HVAC systems, and install new equipment or appliances. 
• General Maintenance: Complete various tasks including maintaining grounds, replacing light bulbs, and other general upkeep duties. 
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, and ensure compliance with local and state building codes.
