The IP Claims Specialist is responsible for managing and resolving claims related to intellectual property (IP) disputes, including copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret issues. This role involves investigating claims, coordinating with legal teams, assessing liability, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Claims Management:
• Review and evaluate IP-related claims for accuracy, completeness, and validity.
• Investigate the nature of the IP dispute, including ownership, infringement, and usage rights.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external legal counsel to assess liability and potential exposure.
• Documentation & Analysis:
• Maintain detailed records of all claims, correspondence, and supporting documentation.
• Analyze contracts, licensing agreements, and IP registrations to support claim resolution.
• Prepare reports and summaries for internal stakeholders and legal teams.
• Communication & Negotiation:
• Liaise with claimants, attorneys, insurers, and other involved parties.
• Negotiate settlements where appropriate, ensuring fair and lawful outcomes.
• Provide updates and guidance to internal teams regarding claim status and resolution strategies.
• Compliance & Risk Mitigation:
• Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with applicable IP laws and company policies.
• Identify trends and recommend improvements to reduce future IP claim risks.
• Stay current with changes in IP legislation and industry best practices.

• Proven experience in patient records management and HMO coordination.
• Familiarity with healthcare systems and HMO processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
