The Field Civil Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction activities at the residential project site, ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and schedule. This role involves coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to deliver quality construction on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise civil works on-site including excavation, foundations, structural works, and finishing activities.
• Ensure construction is carried out according to approved plans, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor daily site activities and report progress to the Project Manager.
• Check and verify measurements, quantities, and contractor work outputs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and execution of tasks.
• Maintain site records: daily logs, inspection reports, and material usage.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and provide on-site engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report any hazards or incidents.
• Attend site meetings and support planning and scheduling activities.

Specifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in residential or building construction (fresh graduates may be considered depending on the potential to learn).
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with site safety practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is a plus.
• Must be willing to work on-site full-time.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
